5. Cookies and Consent

This website uses a cookie consent banner that appears on your first visit. No non-essential cookies or tracking scripts are loaded until you give explicit consent.

We categorize cookies into three groups:

Necessary cookies: Required for the website to function (e.g., consent preference storage). These are set without consent as they are strictly necessary under § 25(2) TTDSG.

Analytics cookies: Used to understand how visitors interact with the website (Google Analytics 4). These are only set after you consent to the "Analytics" category.

Marketing cookies: Used to measure advertising performance and build audiences (Meta Pixel). These are only set after you consent to the "Marketing" category.

Your consent choice is stored in your browser's localStorage and expires after 6 months, at which point you will be asked again. You can change your preferences at any time by clicking "Cookie Settings" in the website footer.

The legal basis for setting non-essential cookies is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TTDSG.

6. Google Analytics 4

If you consent to analytics cookies, this website uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4), a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

We use GA4 with IP anonymization enabled, meaning your IP address is truncated within the European Union before being transmitted.

Google processes this data on our behalf to evaluate website usage, compile reports, and provide related services. Google may transfer data to the United States; Google participates in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

We have integrated Google Consent Mode v2. When you deny analytics consent, Google does not set cookies and does not collect identifiable data. Google may use cookieless modeling to estimate aggregate trends, but no personal data is processed.

The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw consent at any time via the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer.
